this weekend. it was like a little vacation away in the country. or as my mom would say, "down on the farm." because that is pretty much the truth!
it was a really laid back weekend that involved all of the following:
front porch swinging, coffee sipping, horse and pony riding, fireworks watching, barbecuing, eating, eating, eating, nap taking, blueberry picking, blueberry eating, wine drinking and canvas painting, tractor riding, and lots of lots of front porch playing.
i hope i didn't miss anything. and seriously, it was one of my favorite trips yet.
happy birthday, america... and i am so glad we got to celebrate as a family. it was much needed!
